The ‘INKBLOT SERIES’ is a group of 32 jocular works originally drawn in rapid succession with black Indian Ink on glossy paper, each in turn pressed with another paper before the ink dried to achieve the characteristic and unpredictable ‘blotted’ look desired.

The Drawings were then rendered into Lazertran Transfer prints and applied onto a background of mixed media and Gesso on board. Media individually selected to suit each drawing including: acrylic colour, gold leaf, Indian ink, silverpoint, pencil drawing, newsprint or brown and coloured cut papers.
